Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ultra Explorer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application or website.
2. Free Use & Licensing
Ultra Explorer is provided free of charge for private, personal, educational, and non-commercial usage across all available distributions (macOS, Windows, Linux, Docker).
Commercial use or enterprise volume distribution may be subject to dedicated commercial terms.
3. Account Credentials & User Responsibility
Ultra Explorer interacts with third-party cloud providers using your own rclone configuration and API credentials.
You are entirely responsible for the security and backup of your local rclone.conf file, passwords, and encryption keys.
The developer of Ultra Explorer cannot recover lost encryption keys or passwords.
4. Proactive Synchronization Guardrails
While Ultra Explorer provides built-in safety features (Dry-Run simulation, deletion limits, anti-overwrite prompts), you remain solely responsible for reviewing sync routes before executing deletions.
We strongly advise testing sync tasks with Dry-Run mode enabled before modifying critical archives.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Ultra Explorer is provided 'as is', without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the author shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from data loss or transmission errors.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
