The Ultra Explorer website and desktop/server applications are published by Rahman Yilmaz, registered in France (SIRET: 94377576700016, RCS Chalon-sur-Saône).

This policy applies to the Ultra Explorer application across all supported platforms (macOS, Windows, Linux, Docker, and NAS packages) as well as the official showcase website at ultra-explorer.app.

Ultra Explorer operates on a local-first philosophy: our software does not track your behavior, log your keystrokes, or transmit telemetry data.

Zero analytics or user tracking scripts are embedded in the application.

No third-party advertising or profiling SDKs are included.

No user activity, file names, folder paths, or transfer contents are transmitted to our servers.

All cloud connections are managed directly through local rclone configurations.

Access tokens, OAuth credentials, and encryption passwords stay stored solely on your local filesystem inside your encrypted rclone.conf file.

At no point do your secret keys, passwords, or tokens transit through or get backed up onto any intermediary server operated by Ultra Explorer.

When you interact with your cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Amazon S3, Proton Drive, Dropbox, SFTP, SMB), network requests are made directly between your computer and the official APIs of those providers.

These exchanges are subject to the respective privacy policies and terms of service of each respective cloud service provider.

The showcase website (ultra-explorer.app) does not use tracking cookies or targeted marketing cookies.

A privacy-first, cookie-less analytics platform (self-hosted Umami instance) is used exclusively to measure aggregated audience trends, platform downloads, and navigation. Zero personal identifying information is collected, IPs are anonymized, and no cookies are placed on your device.

Standard server access logs (IP address, user-agent) may be recorded temporarily by our sovereign European hosting infrastructure exclusively for DDoS mitigation and technical security.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and international privacy laws, you possess the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of any personal communication sent to our support address.

Since Ultra Explorer does not store user accounts or operational data on central databases, no personal operational data exists on our infrastructure to export or delete.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as our software evolves. Any changes will be posted here with an updated revision date.
